Hamish Galloway started the company in 2009 after an apprenticeship in Ōpōtiki. Certified Builder and Licensed Building Practitioner. Three decades on the tools in the Eastern Bay of Plenty.
Galloway Builders is based in Whakatāne. We build new houses and we work on existing ones — alterations, reclads, kitchens, bathrooms, decks and fences — in Ōhope, Ōpōtiki, Te Puke and around the coast.

Do renovations need building consent?
New homes need it. Many renovations do too. We handle the council work when the Building Act requires it, and we say so when it does not.
